What did YOU do to Celebrate World Polio Day?!!
Thanks to Vila and Rod Smith of the Arnprior Rotary Club, for hosting a End Polio Now dinner for World Polio Day. A fun time was had by all and $1,230 was raised for polio eradication by the assembled Rotarians and their guests. The funds raised will be matched by the Gates Foundation 2:1 and the resulting $3,690 translated into 5,250+ additional children being vaccinated in the remaining endemic countries.
